My surgeons office just called and moved my surgery date to July 9th...it seems all I think about lately is this surgery. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi...it's going good. How are things with you? I'm more ready..pre op starts in two weeks.

I have pre-op on June 28th and my surgery is on July 11th. Im so exciting to begin this journey. They offered me a june surgery but it didn't fit in with my work schedule but either way I'm super excited!!!

I'm so excited only after a month I have been approved to have the duodenal switch!! I'm just waiting on my surgery date...definitely wasn't expecting this today!!

I have the same insurance and had to submit a 6 month diet plan, a 5 year weight history, complete a psychological evaluation and one visit with a nutritionist. Thankfully the diet plan did not have to be consecutive and could go back 2 years...I'm just waiting on approval now.

Yay!! Evaluation done and I passed... My pre-determination counselor just submitted everything to my insurance company. Now I'm playing the waiting game...I'm so excited!!
