It is a series of shots given to patients who test positive for the MTHFR clotting disorder. It helps reduce the risk of blood clots during and after surgery. I never knew I had this until I went through this journey! Thankfully the doctor found it and can treat it. Along with other things they found while doing all the testing and studies. I am getting so nervous! I have my pre-op appointment tomorrow with the doctor and my class with the nurse and pre admissions appointment on Tuesday! They said usually 2 weeks out of work; however, I work lifting 5 gallon bucket of paint so they said 4 weeks would be better. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

I can't wait to take my daughter to Disney! Not sure when yet but losing the weight would help me not feel weird about the trip. I can't wait to buy clothes anywhere... Not just Lane Bryant! I can't wait to run a 5k.

New here!!! I was called this week with a surgery date of April 4!! It is so close and the closer it gets the more nervous I become!
