So I just found out my dr doesn't require a pre-op liquid diet. Just eat light for 3 days before surgery. Then day before surgery a light breakfast and then clear liquids rest if the day and nothing after midnight. I'm happy I don't have to do a long liquid diet but am also concerned since I see so many people on here are required to do so. Any one ever hear of not doing the diet?
I'm hoping for May!! Waiting on insurance approval and another appt with nutritionist and surgeon. Started the process 6 months ago and now starting to get nervous.
Ok. So all my paperwork has been submitted to insurance, crossing fingers for approval!!! How long had it taken others to find out if approved or denied?
