It happens all the time. I seem to be one of the slowest losers here myself (only 14 lbs in over a month...) but day to day fluctuations of a couple pounds are totally normal for anyone. They can have to do with water intake/retention, bowel movements, our special time of the month... Don't freak out, just stick to the plan. Get your liquids and your protein. That's what I'm trying to do everyday! HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 252

So i had my first vomiting/regurgitation experience last night after work. I had two strawberries and ate them too fast. It's a very odd feeling. I got that stuck feeling followed by "frothing" so tons of spit. Vomiting felt more like burping and the undigested food slid right up. I have been TERRIFIED of vomiting since surgery. I know logically I wouldn't mess anything up, but fears aren't always logical! I had nightmare visions of tearing everything apart inside and vomiting my stomach out! Crazy. Thank goodness it was nothing like that! HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 252

My doc says he always does 6 on his patients. 4 about an inch long, and two about 1/2 an inch. Sub dermal sutures and steri strips. My steri strips all came off this week HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 253.5

Good work everyone! I'm proud to be part of this group! Hopefully my weight loss will start catching up with all of yours HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 255.5- April 2013 Post-Op Group
I'm trying not to get down here, but I lost the first week after surgery, and now it's week three (and a half) which means more than two weeks with no loss. I also haven't noticed a huge difference in my clothes. I'm following my surgeon's plan exactly.... I know there are going to be stalls, but come on On a happier note, keep up the good work ladies! It seems like everyone is being careful and smart about their decisions HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 255.5- April 2013 Post-Op Group
Coincidentally my diet has been leaning towards vegetarian. Things like morning star burgers have been great and gentle for me. Cheese and yogurt as well HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 255.5- April 2013 Post-Op Group

I'm on total lockdown because of everything happening in my city. Curled up with the news. A month ago I would have been turning to food in this time of stress. Right now it all feels so surreal. HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 255.5- April 2013 Post-Op Group
As long as you're not feeling like you have to go and can't my doc says its normal. Your body is adjusting to different levels of intake and such. My nut also suggested Fiber like Metamucil to help things, ahem, move along. Mine have been completely irregular since surgery. HW 296 - SW 266.3 (4/1/13) - CW 255.5- April 2013 Post-Op Group

I had clear liquids and shakes for one week, soft proteins (cottage cheese, poached eggs...) for another week, and then the regular diet after that. The nut and dr said I was tolerating things well so there was no need to stay longer on those first stages. I can't wait for fruit and veggies!!!
