Blood Work Question
- Finally In Onederland!
Congratulations!!!! I can't wait to get there. I am stuck at 207 right now.- Goals out loud
My 1st goal is to be down to my wedding day weight by my 12th wedding anniversary which is September 29th. I am pretty sure I am gonna make it. I am at 207 now. I was 199 when I got married. I was 269 on day of surgery which was 5/16/2013. High weight was 279.- 10 days post op, left side pain
- Friday Weigh-In!
210 hear also. So close to Onederland!!! It is so close yet feels so far away. I haven't been under 200 for at least 12 years. So excited!!- MAY 2013 POST-OP GROUP
Peanut butter bothers me too as well as chicken. I liked both before surgery though. It is weird how things change as far as food goes. I don't care for sweets anymore either.- MAY 2013 POST-OP GROUP
Woohoo!!!! congratulations!!! I am right behind you. My surgery was 5/16/13 and I am 9 lbs away!!!- Liquids
YES you WILL feel full. I swear I never felt full before my bypass surgery. But now I ALWAYS feel full after eating something solid.- Monthly cycles
I am having issues with my period also. It is on and off almost daily but I did just have a "regular" period. It was definitely flowing. Every time I moved it seemed to gush. I went to the doctor and she said it is more than likely from stress on my body since my surgery. I guess I will live with it for now as long as I am losing weight!- Don't feel like eating!
I think I am going to do 2 shakes first thing today just to make sure I get a majority of my protein. My problem this weekend was that I was so busy cleaning and getting ready for my 5 and 6 year olds birthday party. I swear I was on the go nonstop for 2 days straight. The good news is that I am 4 weeks post op and down 30 pounds!!!!!- Don't feel like eating!
I had a really bad day today as far as eating and getting all my protein in. I didn't feel like eating and I wasn't even hungry.- Regret
I hope so. I know there is no turning back and I have a wonderful doctor. Just frustrated right now. How far out are you?- Regret
I hate to say it but I think I am regretting my decision on having this procedure done! I was never felt sick after eating before I had this done. I am about 3 1/2 weeks out, it feels like it has been months. My surgery and recovery were uneventful so not sure what is up. I have 3 small children and I am always on the go with them I guess I just need to take a few extra minutes and prepare my meals or plan my meals out for the day.- Emotional NSVs
So it really will happen? My surgery is Thursday, May 16th. I am currently at 265, I can hardly wait to be 155. I don't think I have weighed that since birth!! Lol- Surgery is in 4 days !
I am doing the same thing this weekend. My surgery is this Thursday. I think I am more nervous about not being home for my kids than I am for my surgery.- More info
Got my approval today. FINALLY. Now onto the next step.- More info
So how many days was it total for you from the time it was sent until approval? Just curious because I think mime was sent on 3/11 and I talked to UHC today and they said that they had it.- waiting!
I am keeping myself busy too. I had a call from my doctors office on Monday and they told me that it had been submitted, not sure exactly what day but I am going with Monday. Trying not to think about it, except when I check this. I started to redo my sons bedroom to keep myself extra busy.- Waiting Game
I called the surgeons office today and it turns out that they were waiting for my thyroid blood work. I took care of that 2 weeks ago. Got it all straightened out though today and she said she will submit to Insurance today. She said it will be 7-10 days to get approval. One of my docs said that UHC is easy to work with and that it usually takes a week. I guess I have waited 6 months another week to 10 days won't kill me. Just very anxious.- Waiting Game
I am waiting approval from insurance. I have United Healthcare. Anyone have Amy idea as to how long the process takes? - Finally In Onederland!
