  2. Flintstone vitamins. I can't choke them down. How kids do is beyond me. Did anyone get an alternative they like?
  3. Starting to get anxious as my day is Friday. Not only about the surgery but also "leaving" my 2 year old for a couple of days while I'm in the hospital. The hospital is in a different city than where I'm from. I'm sure all will go well, but how do you explain to a 2 year old you can't pick them up. She will be very heart broken.

  5. Best of luck and prayers to everyone who goes in today! We are all thinking of you! As for me, I just realized in 10 days from now my life changes forever.

  7. Hi everyone! First off, I would like to congratulate everyone for making a proactive choice to improve the quality of your lives and your health. I am scheduled for surgery the 24th of this month. I just had my amazing pre-op nutrition and education class. One reccomendation the dietian made was a probiotic. Anyway I work at cvs and I saw that we will be carrying a powder probiotic. It is a CVS brand. You can mix it with your fluids or add it to food. It is $14. 99 and we often have buy one get one 50% off sales!
  8. Best of luck and good health to all who are making this big life change. And it is our overall health improvement as to why we are doing this (and of course it doesn't hurt our self esteem either). My May date is the 24th and I am very ready. I'm ready to hopefully relieve some of my back and feet pain. I'm ready to run (or walk briskly) after my 2 year old and not be tired and out of breath. And most of all, I'm ready to start living again!
