  1. Surgery date Feb 1 down 34 lbs. I feel the same, it is slow but it it's fine forever!

  4. Congratulations on the 5k! Itopic did a 5 mile hike today. Next Sunday 15 miles
  5. I had surgery on Feb 1, starting weight 241 and am now at 211. I am happy with my 30lbs gone forever! This weekend I had someone say to me "you should have lost at least double that by now". I brushed it off at the time, but then felt so discouraged. I felt like awful! I know that I am getting in at least 60g of protein a day, and walking at least 10,000 steps a day with strength training as well. I woke up this morning and realized after reading the forums here that everyone loses at a different pace. I don't have lots of extra skin (right now) and have lost many inches so I think I am going to just feel good about the 30 lbs and not worry about what others think. Thanks for letting me vent!
  6. Yes, without a doubt. I too wish I had done it years ago. Today, after only 8 weeks, I was taken off my blood pressure medicine!

  8. I had surgery on Feb 1 I took my contacts out on Jan 31 and wore my glasses to the hospital. When I put my contacts back in a few days later I needed to use cheaters to read! I made an eye appointment it is driving me crazy!
  9. 2 weeks post surgery Still on liquids finally getting in all my protein. I drove myself to the store today amd walked for 2 hours . I can tell you all it does get better. I spent 5 days in the hospital vomiting blood I never have not once regretted this decision Hang in there all good things to come
  10. I am only one week post op, and got on my scale for the first time since last Friday and gained 2 lbs! How is this possible? Did anyone else experience this?
  11. 5Days post op and just leaving the today hospital. Have a touch of a pneumonia open incision which will take a visiting nurse but hopefully I am on my way! Good luck to every one
  12. So not only am I vomiting blood one of my sure is now bleeding!
  13. Well surgery was done on Friday I am still in the hospital. I have been vomiting blood since Saturday back on iv. Hopefully they don't have to.go back in will keep you all posted good luck to everyone having surgery this week
