  2. I think that would make sense that it would maybe be slower due to you weighing less. I hope your doctor has some answers for you! Good luck!
  3. Yay! Congrats! Welcome!
  4. I'd absolutely love to lose 2-3 lbs a week! I think that is the perfect rate!
  5. I see my dr Friday. I'm sure she will just tell me to get more protein and its normal. I don't know how this is normal. My starting weight was 244. As of today I was 224.6. I've never gone lower. Up one or two from there but not down. What weight did you start at?
  6. Haha I shared the recipe too and said they taste just like French toast too!! Not sure how long they would last!
  7. My surgery was 6 weeks ago. I lost 18 the first two weeks. Then about 2 in 4 weeks. Ive been going up and down those 2 lbs that whole 4 week time span. I pretty much feel like I'm never going to lose. How is it possible to have this surgery and not lose. The last thing I want is to have this fail on me
  8. Is it possible for this surgery to not work? I'm so discouraged. I'm on week 6 and I've only lost 20 lbs. 18 of it was the first 2 weeks. It's so hard for me to not get discouraged and stay motivated when I know most everyone would be so much further along in their weightloss. I made this huge life changing decision to have this surgery. I didn't see it playing out this way.
  9. Thank you for that!!
  10. Ok great! I just made mine! They were all fluffy until I took them out of the oven and they sunk in the middle! Hopefully that's what's supposed to happen! I'm trying making homemade kale chips tonight too!
  11. One more question! Is it the Splenda brown sugar blend? I can't find a Splenda that just says brown sugar
  12. Did you guys use low fat or light ricotta or the regular? I'm going to go buy the stuff tomorrow! I'm excited to try!
  13. Soo what is this nectar?? I've never heard of the stuff you guys are talking about...
  14. The ninja works great too!
  15. That's amazing! Congrats! I'm 3 weeks out. I lost 14 my first two weeks together and I've lost nothing during week 3. I'm hoping the scale drops some next week! I'm getting discouraged!
  16. Hey everyone! I had RNY gastric bypass March 26, 2013! Tomorrow will be the last day of week 3. My highest weight was 275. Weight of surgery day was 245. Two weeks post op appointment I was 232. I am at a week long stand still. I'm 28 and 5'5. I'm looking forward to talking to people and being able to help each other out!
  17. 70 lbs is amazing! Tomorrow is my last day of week 3. I lost a total of 14 lbs during week 1 and 2 but I haven't even lost 1 oz during week 3! I'm so disappointed and discouraged!
  18. I'm 28! I had my surgery March 26!
