  1. HaJa I can't eat peanut butter as well...also shrimp...I loved shrimp!
  2. Hi All, I had skinless, boneless grilled chicken thighs...I switched to thighs because I couldn't tolerate chicken breasts...now the thighs aren't agreeing with me! It's very strange that foods that I had no problem with I now can't tolerate! Has this happened to anyone else?
  3. Janice you look great! When was your surgery and how much have you lost? Are you doing any exercise?
  4. I'm sooo happy, I weighed myself this morning and I was down 52 lbs...surgery was March 20th! Bye-bye 52,
  5. The most important factor in choosing a surgeon is experience, experience, experience!
  6. The left overs are probably too dry. The same thing has happened to me with meatloaf.

  12. Hi, I am having a problem and need some advice, my surgery was March 20th. Ladt Wednesday my diet was advanced to soft Foods i. Today I advanced further to deli meats, canned pears and peaches vegetables etc. I had some deli chicken1.5 slices and some roasted carrots with cauliflower and onion..I think I didn't chew the carrot enough annd have had hiccups and inability to swallow anything...it may have been a small obstruction. It seemed to clear as soon as vomited. It's been about 5 hours since I ate so I tried a little egg salad,,,my stomach is slightly painful and I couldn't eat more then two teaspoons...has anyone else had this? How long did it take to go back to normal?
  13. Quick question. My surgery was March 29th. I was advanced to very soft foods yesterday..I can have anything soft enough that you don't have to chew...this morning I wasn't hungry but this afternoon I'm really hungry. Is anyone else really hungry aas soon as they started food!
  14. Just had my first solid food. Vanilla yogurt..it was sooo delicious!
  15. Hi All,I had my surgery 2 weeks ago today. Had my 2 week follow up today and have lost a total of 25 lbs! I am feeling very well . My only issue is belching. I am not fit company for man or beast! Hope all the other boomers are doing well.
  16. Hi all, I had my surgery on Wednesday and am home today. Only need Tylenol for the soreness..haven't had any nausea..I think I am very lucky. I do have one weird thing happening. It started in the hospital and continues but to a lesser degree and that is shakiness or trembling. Has anyone else had that? I think it's related to the anesthia.
