  1. I had RNY on Wednesday. In recovery the doctor told me I had a hernia in my diaphragm that was also fixed. I didn't know I had it.
  2. I think I can see my ankles! Yeah!!!
  3. Yeah I don't get a full feeling yet. My doctor said my stomach is 20 ml so I'm measuring everything. It will be much easier when I can tell if I'm full.
  4. I feel the same as you but I haven't lost anything yet???? I had surgery two days ago. I am also concerned about getting enough Protein and water in.
  5. I cannot get all of my protein or calories in. I have gotten about 36 oz of water, 40 ml of broth and 20 ml of protein shake but that is it so far. Is this normal ?
  6. I feel pretty good. I thought it would be much worse after reading some of the forums. My stomach is 20 - 30 ml. I Am able to sip Water and broth with no problem. I have sipped a little of the Protein drink but not much. I don't have much gas pains in my chest. I had a little the first day but not anymore. I'm passing gas and urine frequently but no BM yet. What is your surgery date? I still can't believe I finally got it done!
  7. I had my surgery 2/14. My start weight was 231. My surgery date I weighed 204. I'm 5'3. My doctor said I will lose between 50 and 75 pounds.

  9. This is my first morning home. I had surgery Wednesday morning. I'm on Percocet every four hours. If I don't take it right away the pain is pretty bad. I'm passing gnarly gas but no BM yet. How is everyone else going this morning?
  10. I was on a morphine drip and this afternoon they changed me to Percocet .
  11. I had my surgery yesterday morning and my husband still hasn't called me. That makes me very sad.
  12. I am now post op!!! In a lot of pain. They found a hernia and I have six incisions. I'm very sore!!! My husband hasn't called me all day. That makes me sad.

  14. So my surgery is this morning. Since the beginning my husband has been in denial. Last night he tells me he doesn't want me to go it. I let him know I'm going forward with or without his help. So he calls me selfish and sleeps on the vouch! WTF!!! I'm so pusses right now!
  15. I'm going in the morning for my RNY. Have all these scary thoughts going through my head. Doubting my decision, I am sure just of you felt like this the night before?
  16. I'm getting RNY tomorrow also! Just drank my "cleanser". I check in at 6:00. So nervous but excited!

  20. I have my preop next Friday. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!
  21. I am trying to decide between the two. What are your deciding factors? Pros and cons if either that helped you decide?
