  1. Thanks again for the feedback. I have a lot of work to do on my end. All the best to each of you!
  2. I'm not sure if you guys know of any Reiki Masters in your local area, but I saw one just before surgery and she sent me healing energy everyday after for a week and it really helped. I recovered from bypass surgery quicker and easier than minor knee surgery. I was pain free in 7 days and feeling great! It really helped with the healing process.
  3. You look amazing. Do you need any skin removal surgery? Just curious. That's my goal too.
  4. I was glued too. All of the glue came off in about a week. I'm well on my way to healing. The swelling is almost gone. My surgery was also 12/20.
  5. Great! I'm already able to eat solid foods. I was pain free by day 7. Concerned that I've only lost 14 pounds so far. How much have you lost?
  6. Thanks everyone. I'm trying to cut my portions back to see if that helps. I see the doctor on Jan 9th so I'll talk to him then. On average how much should I be losing a day? One of my friends that had the surgery said she lost 1-2 pounds a day. I haven't lost any weight in a week.
  7. My surgery was 12/20/12, Troy, MI Dr. Krause.
  8. Same things happening to me. Right out if the gate I drank 11oz protein shake and 6 oz yogurt no problem, never feeling full. I'm also worried. I haven't lost any weight in a week. My surgery was 12/20/12. When was yours?
  9. Sending prayers of healing your way.
  10. I had surgery on December 20th. Right out of surgery I was able to eat, digest and process large portions of food. I've never gotten sick and rarely feel full. I was eating soft foods in a week and completely pain free. Granted I did Reiki before surgery and healing energy was being sent to me every day after, but all the doctors can say is that the fluids go down easier for some than others and to stay the course. However, the nutritionist said my situation is very unique and they are in uncharted waters with me. I haven't lost any weight in a week! I fear that I went through this surgery for nothing. I still have 150 pounds that I need to lose. Has anyone else ever heard of this happening to someone they know right out of surgery? My guess is that the pouch wasn't made small enough. How else can you explain "business as usual" when it comes to eating this soon out of surgery?
