I've been having a hard time too..I was supposed to start liquids on the 10th which I've done good..but the same day I caught a cold so I ate eggs cause I needed energy. it is amazing how good food smells when on liquids!!

I hope it doesn't affect my surgery..I'm hoping it goes away by then. I will find out Tuesday when I go in for my pre surgery/admitting appt.

I'm having a tough time on liquid diet...on top of it I have a cold..I.feel like if I couldve eaten I may have kicked this cold.

I have bcbs I'll ppo and I started in aug and got approved in nov. I had to attend 1 support class, an appt with the dietician and a psych eval. now I'm on 2 weeks liquid diet with surgery on 01/24/13

my surgery is on a Thursday so I'm taking 8 days off and working fri to see how I feel. im off for the weekend. then I will decide if I need more time.

yes... I was supposed to have surgery December 13th but the hospital called me the day before and said I could potentially get a bill for 14,000 dollars so I changed it to january 24th

my dr does the two week liquid diet also but I know kaiser has patients do 3 days of liquid diet

I too am a soda drinker and I am hoping it makes me sick..I probably drink 100 oz or more a day and am supposed to stop in 10 days
