Hi everyone, I'm Rebekah and I'm having my surgery this coming Monday. I'm hoping this procedure will help launch me onto a happier and healthier lifestyle. I started researching WLS after seeing Lauren Manzo (Real Housewives of New Jersey) and her success....it was like it dawned on me that I didn't have to be older and 500 pounds to do this so I got the ball rolling right away. So here I am...all prepared...I feel I've coped well with coming to terms with all the change this will bring but the past few days I've been alternating between being excited and being really sad and scared. I'm hoping I can make buddies here that understand what I'm going through. Only a handful of people know and my family not at all because they're incredibly critical and judgemental and I don't want to deal with comments the rest of my life. So that's the basics If anyone uses mutineers I would love more buddies there too!
