  7. I was back to work in 12 days. I work in an OR like dept. It was good for me, to be up and moving around! I just took it easy. I avoided moving patients. No one knew, and I was still able to keep it private.
  8. Everyone is doing such an amazing job! I don't post much, but I love to read! 3/19 was my 3 month anniversary. I had my group nutrition appt., and was given the ok to go on to the lifetime eating plan. My doctor and program allow carbs, my always make protein the priority. I'm down 47lbs since surgery and 67lbs since I started the journey. I have never felt better!!! I'm afraid to give up my protein drinks (2x a day). I don't think it would be possible to get all my protein in without them. Have any of you stopped with the protein drinks?

  15. Does everyone deal with nausea and vomiting on a normal basis? Im 6 weeks out, and get a little nauseous when I eat. Not every time, but maybe once a day. And vomiting, maybe 2-3 times a week. Mostly if I try something new, or eat to fast. Do you all think this is normal? Thanks, E
  16. Oh Gen! You are a better person then I would be! What an a $$ to continue to put you through hell. My thoughts and prayers are with you for your results and recovery. And karma will take care of your ex:) I can't imagine gas pain being worse then RNY:( E

  18. HW: 300 DOS: 12/19/12 280 CW: 255 -25 since surgey
  19. I ate something yesterday that did not agree with me! I had 2 plain chicken wings, and the came back up almost as quick as they went down. I have only thrown up a few times, but after this time I had some discomfort and pain below and between my breast (is that where my pouch is?). I also felt very nauseous for about 12hrs. Is it normal to have pain or discomfort after vomiting? Also, I am 4 weeks post op and stalled on my weight loss too. I get 70+ protein a day. I see my nut and Dr thursday, is it possible to get to much protein? And 1 more question. Is anyone else having trouble sleeping? I have terrible insomnia. I have tried tylenol pm, melitonin, and muscle relaxers, and I still can't sleep. Any suggestions? Thanks, E
