  1. I really need some ideas for food. I'm having a hard time finding things I can eat. I was hoping there were some suggestions. I try different soft foods but find myself throwing up. I'm just scared
  2. Me too. Went out and bought a strong blender. I am hoping I can be creative with my protein shakes.
  3. I am just curious what the normal weight loss will be? Nobody really can give me a hard answer about it.
  4. I had my gastric bypass on 11-29-12. I have so many questions about what others who had surgery are doing now. I'm having a hard time keeping liquids down at times. Some full liquids don't agree with me and protein is a constant problem for me. Just need ideas from others thanks.
  5. Oh goodness I really hope you feel better soon. Keep me posted.
  6. I'm so happy for you. I have had some great conversations on here so far. I try to get in once a day and read. Good luck and Happy New year.
  7. Wow everybody has really made some great suggestions about sashimi. Very much appreciated.
  8. Thank you you guys.
  9. Is anyone awake? I really do not know how to user he site as proficiently from my iPhone but its easier to pick up than my computer. I'm just really feeling bad this morning. It is 3:15 am here. I went back to work yesterday and had a horrible day. I guess I was not expecting to be treated so poorly at work by my coworkers and boss. Like what I did was a waste of time and that I had somehow inconvenienced them in some way. Guess I was just reaching out to see if anyone else had experienced anything like that at work or if I'm just the only unlucky one with a toxic work environment.
  10. I have lost. 16. Very excited
  11. How long until it doesn't spasm?
  12. Let me know because I'm like missing that the most. Ugh I loved sushi.
  13. Does anyone know how much weight is the normal loss in the beginning?
  14. Well I found a high protein 2% low fat milk that im making my shakes with so far it has worked the last two days. Plus a low fat no calorie sherbet that is good too for shakes. I got it through the Celebrate website.
  15. Ok. So I thought I was doing better this week is full liquids but I am so nauseated. Ugh. Has anyone found a full liquid that works for them that is high in protein. I'm just experimenting.
  16. Well I went to the doctor today. Incisions are good. Lost twelve pounds super excited. Go back to work on the 17th.
  17. Hi. I'm glad you reached out. I had surgery on the 29th. I was in the hospital two more days then home. My ON Q pain pump got pulled out the day I was going home so I didn't have that extra pain relief. I should have walked more too. It is so hard. I feel better today but I know I am going to my first post op appointment to see if I'm ready to return to work but I think I'm going to ask for just one more week off. I just feel like I'm not ready and I feel like I'm only wanting to go back to please people who really do not have my best interests at heart, you know? What do you think? Are any of you going back to work soon?
  18. Thank you. Trying to figure it all out. :-)
  19. Hi my name is Tracie. I am one week post op. looking for friends going through what I went through. Hope everyone is doing well.
