Slowly losing!
I had surgery December 4th. I lost 18 pounds my first week, but this last week it's been fluctuating and not going down. My doc says it's normal. Hang in there! A 31 lb weight loss is still an achievement!!

I have a crampy pain under my rib too. I have found deep breaths have helped the most with it to stretch it out. I slept on the bed the first night and made sure the room was black and cool.- December 2012 Post Op Group
I can't wait for Mashed Potatoes! They're my favorite. Haha. 2 more weeks. Yay!- December 2012 Post Op Group
every doctor is different I suppose. As far as pureed food goes, check out the baby section. Stage 1 and 2 are good consistancy for that phase of the diet. That'll give you variety. Also Oatmeal with Protein powder, cream of wheat, tuna pureed, pureed Beans with avocado, etc.- December 2012 Post Op Group
You're going to pureed foods already? My diet guidelines are Clear liquids for 3 days then full liquids for 2 weeks (cream Soups, tomato juice, pudding etc) -then- pureed- foods, (Mashed tatoes, baby food consistancy ANYTHING, oatmeal, grits, etc...)- December 2012 Post Op Group
I did not gain weight after surgery. I am down 7 pounds from my day of surgery weigh in. Luckily I didn't get attacked by Aunt Flow. Mirena has all but killed my period- December 2012 Post Op Group

Mine wasn't that tough. I feel bad for those of you having a rough time with this. I know everyone heals different but jeesh. =(- December 2012 Post Op Group
Thanks! I've been up walking all day basically, and it's getting better, but now I'm crampy from moving so much. Oh well ya win some ya lose some! How are you?! I see you had surgery the same day!- December 2012 Post Op Group
New to this forum! I had surgery December 4th at 6AM in Wilmington, NC. I am now at home and doing pretty well! I am moving around fine and have hardly needed pain medicine. I just have an awful pain in my shoulders that I can't kick. - December 2012 Post Op Group
