No not yet... Im due in about 10 days.....

My sugery date was 11/26 so just a little over 3 weeks out and its been a week and a half and I am losing I actually gain a pound then lose it... Its so frustrating I am not seeing any movement, isn't too soon to be at a stand still. Im doing mostly liquids and introducing some soft foods daily little by little. I have at least 60g o Protein each day as a bare minimum and on good days Im doing about 80g. I am walking everyday 1 mile in 30 minutes which is sometimes hard but I push myself and I sweat and my heart rate goes up. What am I doing wrong

Oh Man my liquid diet was only 2 days and I swear I wanted to kill someone I was so snappy! Hang in there it is SO worth it!!!! I went on a full cleaning frenzy for 2 days. The morning of the surgery... I was exhausted from cleaning all day sat and sunday which was almost kinda great cause I slept the majority of the time i was waiting in the preop area lol You CAN do it!!!! Thanks! I figured being focused on the protein would kill 2 birds @ once since they are liquids anyways! Ill keep at it then! I feel great though! Ok so I'm post op 5 days and I'm on clear liquids for 2 weeks. Im focusing on my Protein Shakes since I really dont want to get weak/lose my hair etc. Im trying to get as close to the 80-100g of protein a day but so far the most I can intake is two 8oz protein drinks which have 23g of protein each. Im taking Nectar. I rarely drink water by itself. I want to make a every sip count and since I can barely drink 16oz of liquids I'm not even adding broth, jellos or popsicles... But Im afraid im gonna get dehydrated if I don't drink more... has anyone had this problem??? Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk

4 days post op! I'm home now. Feel so good! I'm literally stuffed from 1oz liquids at a time! LoL it's amazing. Still have soreness and some gas pain but tolerable. Dr sent me home with some liquid Tylenol with Codine... just took my dose and ready for bed. Im reading these posts about the lack of support and it makes me sad/angry to hear this. Didn't there mamas teach them... if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all. I made my decision alone. My hubby knew all along I was considering it and was supportive, when I told him I was going thru with it. He said that he was behind me 100% cause it didn't matter what I looked liked but that I was healthy. He has been to support groups with me, he did his own research on the process and even knows what I can and cant eat. He is truly amazing. Some family members though... hmmm I had to tell a few to keep there negative comments to themselves. Just keep true to yourself and keep the positive support close and you'll be okay! Sorry for the late update. Yesterday was rough. Procedure was about 3 hours. Been in a lot of pain. I wont pass any gas. Ive been walking alot and nothing it won't come out. Pain has gotten better but I can still feel the gas pain. Im ok though! Liquids should start in a few hours. Can't wait I am so thirsty! Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk

OMG! The hospital just called me to confirm and set everything up! The nerves are back and in full effect - 6 more days. Thank god for work and Black Friday Shopping to keep me busy other wise I would b going CRAZY!!!

Im starting a thread on things you cant wait to do/accomplish after surgery.. I can't wait... for that moment where I don't have to use a beach towel after a shower! till I can ride my bike with my daughter without my tire going flat the moment I hop on the bike! to give my daughters a bath with out running out of breath! till I can take my boyfriend out on a date to his favorite place Six Flags without being in fear that the security lock on the roller coaster wont fit me or I wont fit in the seat period! till I can play hide n seek with my daughter and be able to run without feeling like I'm about to collapse! till food is no longer something I seek for comfort yet only for necesity because my body needs nutrients not because my emotions need to be fed!

Gastric Bypass - Scheduled for November 26. I have been preparing for this since August. Everything has been happening so fast for me. I've been calm through out the entire process. I've done my research, read and asked a million questions. I'm both physically and mentally prepared. I had an appointment on Oct 24 that's when I was given my surgery date. I was excited but ok. Buuuuut today... oh today! Today s***t got REAL! LoL I had my last appointment wiflth my surgeon... I was ok.. we talked about everything. He looked thrum my Vitamins and all was good. Then he said: Ok we are all set. Next time I see you it'll be right before surgery. The moment I was in my car I couldn't stop crying. What is happening to me? All of a sudden I am nervous, scared and having second thoughts. Am I ready for this? Am I capable of doing this? Can I do this? Am I making the right choice! I'm so emotional. Can't stop crying.
