  7. I recieved a coupon holder with a few coupons, a planner, glucerna drinks, chicken broth, box of protein bars and a box of drink mixes and a bag of Special K popcorn chips! Love it all!! Thanks Maribel
  8. I had a boca veggie chicken patty and a couple French fries. I feel myself being able to eat more and it scares me. My surgery was on 10/31. Today for lunch had a steak soft taco. Was able to eat the whole thing. Minus lettuce. I hope I'm not over doing it. I know it's not nearly what I used to eat though.
  9. I made French dip crescents. Sliced roast beef and provolone rolled in crescents with horseradish sauce. Only ate 2 which is equal to one whole crescent. But it was good. Probably not the best choice. But much better than I would have done prior to surgery. http://www.mamalovesfood.com/2012/01/french-dip-crescents-with-easy-au-jus.html

  11. Smoked turkey from sonny's BBQ. We are on vacation. So alot of eating out. It's been tough and tempting. On our way home now. Been throwing up since the turkey. Pure misery. Especially in a car. Ugh.

  14. Small piece of baked chicken breast with marinara on it.
  15. Ive made these before I had surgery, very good.. I'll try them again too, just without the bun this time!
  16. I'm going back through the forums getting so ideas, can't wait to try the buffalo chicken cupcakes! I feel sometimes Im not eating the right things.. But I was told if I can tolerate it (like bread or pasta) to eat it.. I can't eat very much at all.. but I eat alot of string cheese and try to eat my protein before anything else that I make for dinner. I think I'm going to start getting sliced deli meat to eat with my cheese because I'm struggling getting my protein in. My hair is falling out as a result of it.. so hopefully I can get this all figured out, I had surgery 10/31/12-- so its not like I'm a newbie at this, just some days are better than others. I eat alot of crackers, and cashews and try to eat a protein bar once a day, but I'm getting tired of those! I don't like the drinks either. When I want something sweet, I eat teddy grahams. I appreciate you all posting ideas, I'm going to try the morningstar sausage and boca burgers. Thanks again!

  18. I am 4 months out, I have also craved these things, I can tolerate a 1 slice wheat bread toasted, with peanut butter or something on it, but I usually tear off the crust! I have also had a cookie before but I usually eat a couple teddy grahams when I'm craving something sweet, but mainly stick to crackers.

  20. I received a couple protein drinks to try, some goldfish and teddy graham crackers, single serve oatmeal and a Minnie Mouse water bottle. I loved it all. Thank you Aalja!!
  21. I have the same issues, in my head everything sounds good and I think I can sit down and eat a Big Mac, Knowing that I can't (and haven't tried lol) I just wish the thoughts of all the food I used to eat would go away.. I have a sit down job and all I want to do is sit and snack.. Same if I'm at home in the evenings.. I'm still struggling getting my protein b/c the drinks are nasty, my surgery was 10/31-- last weigh in I was down 52 pounds. Some days I feel like I don't get enough "food" just snacks, other days I feel like I eat too much.. Hopefully everything will balance out eventually.
  22. itsmedionna@yahoo.com I'm interested, I thought I replied once, but I didn't see my response on here! Sorry if I did it twice-- Surgery date 10/31/12
