  1. Thanks so much! He is definitely my rock. He is just worried about complications and I will feel after. He is also going to all my appointments and meetings with me. Do people tend to go to support groups preop?
  2. I am 35yo female. I made the decision to have bypass surgery. I only have to do 3 months with dietitian before i'm able to schedule. I had my first appointment yesterday. All the "food stuff " makes me feel overwhelmed. I haven't been to a support group get but I am planning on it. I don't know anyone else going thru this. My fiance is very apprehensive about me doing this. He is all for me getting healthy and hopefully getting better as far as my diabetes and htn. He has just heard all the horror stories and is worried. Any ideas about how to calm his fears? Thanks!
