For all you guys and girls complaining about a 10 lbs gain in the hospital yall are VERY LUCKY because of my extended surgery and complications and the amount of time at the hospital on an IV I gained 42 lbs yepp you heard that right ""42 lbs"" but now I am home its been 11 days since my surgery and I am still strictly on clear liquids and the doc said I will be on them probly for another 2-3 weeks however I'm supposed to drink 3 protien shakes a day but that's not happening I CANNOT get them down and have tried every kind you can think of so my doctor said just stick to my liquids and not get dehydrated so thats what I'm doing I have a doc appt tuesday I hope for some good news and hopefully be out of pain I know they will remove my 2nd drainage port then ... But for now it's a slow go sip sip sip walk walk walk and rest but one good thing is that this morning I have lost 56 lbs total yeah me

I don't know about sugar levels I know in the hospital they had to give me insulin so I guess I will go buy me a sugar tester in the morning and start monitoring my levels

Ok guys and girls I am having some major issues again and hope not to go back in the hospital however I cant stop shaking and am very weak but I know its because of lack of protien but my new pouch cant handle any shakes I've had they make me sick to the point of throwing up which is dangerous for me and I can't have anything other than liquids for 2-3 more weeks because of my complications gerr any suggestions ???

I am not doing ANYTHING the doc says I cant do because of my complications it could still kill me so its a slow go process I am only on clear liquids for another 2-3 weeks

I actually feel kind of good today I am hurting alittle in my stomach but mainly my stomach is itching really really bad especially around both of my drain ports which I will have until next week when I go to my doctors office

Thanks everyone for the prayers I deffinatly needed them my doctor said I wasn't out of the woods yet I'm still on very strict orders and only liquids for another 3 weeks not even protein shakes with my stomach being so fragile I can't risk it busting open again so I have broth, poweraid zero grape ((is amazing especially super cold)) & sugar free jello and popcicles and luigis italian ice no sugar added of course ..... But ill take it they finally said I could go home because I kept having very high blood pressure from stressing because not being with my boys and husband

Hey guys and girls I am getting sooo behind on the list of people who ,have, and haven't had the surgery yet would there be anyone who would be willing to take it over I'm just not able to right now I am just so worn out taking things day by day

I am having a pretty rough day been in alot of pain they think I might have a small start of pneumonia and during the 7.5 hour bypass I had where they were trying to fix my complication my liver may have got knicked and might need to go in and fix... I just miss my baby boys I am on my crying fit today

I had my surgery at 9 am on December 3, 2012...,I HAD AND AM STILL HAVING MASSIVE COMPLICATIONS ((ICU 4 days and still in the hospital)) so it's not just people who don't listen to the doctors who have problems I didnt even get out of the operation room without massive issues

Ok guys and girls do me a big favor and check the latest surgery list and tell me if ya'll are not on it I would really like to get that done right away especialy since I'm feeling like getting to it :-) lol

Its just upsetting all we want is to be healthy for our family and now I don't even know when I get to go home

Hey guys and girls it's looking like I might be going home monday or tuesday I got to see my boys today it was bittersweet they cried when they seen me I cried like a baby when they left I miss my boys I WILL GET THROUGH THIS please say a prayer for me I am actually doing 200% better now

Hey family and friends.... Sorry I haven't been on much I have been in the Critical Care Intensive Care Unit for 5 days I had to keep my breathing tube in for a couple of days because they couldnt risk me swelling up to much because I have server abdominal fragility everytime the would do a leeak test it would explode and that made my surgery appy from 2.5hrs to right at 7.5 hours but I had my most recent post op leak teast yeasterday and it's holding great
