I am joining you on that special day. I was suppose to have mine on the 5th, but the day before I was cancelled because insurance didn't approve it yet. (After I did my liquid diet for 8 days) But everything happens for a reason, and I got the call with my insurance approval today.

How exciting! I'm waiting for my call. Hopefully no problems with insurance and we will be starting our journey at the same time!!

I can't even imagine how your feeling! Is it something to do with insurance or the hospital? My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi everyone! Add me to the list! I went to meet the surgeon today and they scheduled me for my surgery Dec 5th, Hershey, PA. It was either that or January. I'm just a little worried that it is too short of a time frame for my insurance approval. Has anyone had any problems with a long wait for insurance to approve? I had to start my liquid diet as soon as I left the office. Soooo excited, but sooooo nervous.

I go for my last group meeting, and meet with my surgeon on Thursday. I'm hoping for surgery to be the week before Christmas in Hershey, PA. I'm a little nervous about insurance. This is my 2nd time through the pre process, due to insurance denial the first time (my policy didn't cover wls, even though I was told it would when I started). The only issues I have are my weight obviously, high blood pressure, and back problems. Does anyone know anyone that has been turned down because they were you healthy?
