Pain Level
I've learned that everyone's healing times are different. Since you converted your surgery your healing time may be longer. I was totally off the pain meds by 5 days out, but my friend that had surgery was on them for longer. You should notice the pain decreasing though, if it's not decreasing I'd definitely go see the surgeon or at least give them a call.

Im At My Pre Op Apt....
Height masks weight very well. I was 315 at my highest weight and everyone used to lie and tell me how I wasn't that big . But then again I am now 100 lbs lighter and now their telling me I'm TOO thin... I've just learned to ignore the comments and keep my eye on my goals. Congrats on your pre-op appointment! Not much longer now!!!

Please Help Me!
I agree with LosingItForMe, I have never heard of this either. Maybe your doctor could suggest what you need to put into the letter. But I'm pretty sure 10 pages would be way too much LOL!

Need Advice Please!
I just told my kids I was going into the hospital to get healthy and I wouldn't be away long (kids are 7 and 2). Of course my 2 year old didn't care lol but my 6 year old only wanted to know if I was coming back with another baby . I just let my 6 year old know that when I came back I wouldn't be able to do much for a week or so so I would need his help sometime. He was happy to help and everything went well!

How Had Surgery Effected Your Periods?
I'm 6 months out and to be honest the first few months were awful for me. It was heavy, lasted almost 2 weeks at a time, and even came twice a month for 2 months! And I was on the pill so that upset me even more. But I guess it was all hormonal because for the past two months it's been normal and comes when it's supposed to.

Old Navy/gap
The great thing about Old Navy is that their plus sizes tend to run big. I lived in Old Navy pre-op, and when you catch a sale you can get things for under $5!!!!!

Crazy Question
Lol a popsicle turns into liquid. I practically lived on them for the first few weeks after surgery.

Tricare
It should go by the weight at your first appointment with the surgeon. Not your weight after a medically supervised diet. Unless the diet was done before you see the surgeon. Then you may have a problem.
