  2. 1st trip out today...had an emotional breakdown in the grocery store. Is that normal? Please tell me this goes away!

  4. My surgeon put one on me right after surgery. Ask your surgeon first.

  6. Alright I just got the wind knocked out of me..,putting dog out and he knocked me off my feet. I caught myself but twisted a little bit. I have some more pain but the incisions are intact. Am I going to be okay? I think I was more scared than hurt. Advice please

  10. Don't be scared your doctor gave you great guidelines to follow and you have wonderful resources here. I understand about boundaries, I have been tempted to pass the limits just to understand the were the limits are. Take care of yourself.
  11. I guess I am in denial about this I don't feel anything different other than the pain I am feeling under my rib cage. I know I should at least feel a little different right? I also have an incision that is completely infected and on powerful antibiotics. It just seems surreal I guess. Should I have had a BM by now?
  12. Right along with everyone on the nurses and Law and Order. The nurses at Bailey was awesome! I got released the day after my surgery due to I had done all that I was suppose to complete before going home. Still running low grade fever can not seem to shake it. Sent hubby to shop for some fleece pants and waiting on him to come back to see how he did!!! Lol Hang in there everyone and the ones that are still in the hospital sending go home prayers your way.
  13. I have BCBS and they declined. I am double covered also by United Healthcare who approved me in 1 day!
  14. Still dealing with pain but it is tolerable for right now. Walking and sipping so doing good in that area.
  15. Surgery went well! Dealing with pain issues. We will see if I get to go home today...keep fingers crossed!

  17. All I have to say is we serve a mighty God!! Tomorrow at 5:30 AM. Thank you all for your prayers they were heard. Also praying for all my journey buddies for tomorrow on their surgeries.
  18. Scope procedure went very well..and waiting breathlessly to see if I have surgery tomorrow. Waiting on confirmation...if I get it I will have to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM. Praying it all works out!!!
  19. It is amazing the emotions one can go through during something like this. Thank you every for the support it is making today more bearable.
