I'm curios to know how the surgery had effected your period. Mine were very heavy for 2 years after having my tubes tied. I had a uterine oblation 5days before gastric bypass. My Dr told me i would either never get it again or it would be very light. I'm now 4days post op and approaching my normal cycle time and I'm wondering if gastric bypass may cause it to come...
The same thing happened to me. My surgery was on the 26th and the next night when i was leaving they brought me a carnation instant breakfast do i mixed it and drank half in my room and more in the car well i never finished it cause i felt sick, bubbles, and like i wanted to pass out. When i court home i lated down and threw up dry heaves and was much better. I think my stomach just wasn't ready for it. I tried one this morning and it went down fine.
I stocked the house with everything they like and i don't along with most of the foods i can eat on a liquid diet but after the first day home its all appealing to me! I'll be glad when they go to school on Monday and i only have to make one meal a day for them. Bad as that sounds i won't be so tempted!
Today i had my first bm too. Mine is watery and practically clear! I feel like the bowel prep is still coming out..... Shots in the stomach i got those too with some lovely buses that went with them.
I'm 3days post op and I'm having trouble with this today. I feel hungry which i didn't expect! and i have to feed my 4 children. being stuck home all weekend since I'm not supposed to drive I've been trying to cook half way decent for my children and then leave the kitchen before i want it! Commercials on TV are getting to me too. Guess i can't wait for stage 4! Been researching fast food menus all day so know what if anything i can eat once I'm off this liquid diet... I'm very busy being a single mom they get fast good at least once a week. Still trying to break away from that too.
Thanks! I'm going to look for it. The nurse told me its the not taking the vitamins that makes people loose hair. So I'm gonna be ontop of that since my hair is allready thin :-(
I'm not nervous about the surgery I've had 4 csections and went threw tbe recovery of tje last two alone. The nurse told me I'll be fine! But i am a single mother of 4 with no help. My friends all live too far to help and my family isn't much help either. Kinda feel like I'm going threw this alone and im more worried about what I'm gonna cook for my kids after surgery....
