  1. OK. Gotta vent. My surgery was January 7th. I was doing super good. My first post op doctor appointment is the 5th and I've only lost 29lbs. Is that normal? I feel super frustrated. I expected more from myself. What should I do. I feel maybe the surgery wasn't for me. What if I completely fail. I don't look any different. I'm disappointed in myself.

  3. I read that wrong. Lol. Sorry..I read Gym No no gum. It said in my papers not to
  4. No. I have a great elliptical. I love it. I do 2 15 min workouts a day. I will succeed
  5. Almost 3 weeks post op and 30lbs down. My diet is weird though. It says liquid diet but says I can have mashed potatoes, refried beans, things like that. I've cheated. I ate a oz of chicken salad. It was shredded, but I had to have something that I could chew. I'm craving food. I'm not hungry just craving. Feelings are up and down at times. But so happy I did it. Still sore at times
  6. I had to take it for 8 days. Only hurt once. I HATE NEEDLES. So that's saying something. When you wipe with the alcohol make sure its dry before you stick. Also let it stay in for a bit to make sure it in, because if you pull it out before all the Med is in it will sting. Good luck.
  7. Hello everyone hope yawll are doing great.. I'm 12 days out and doing OK. I've had a couple of days were I wasn't getting enough protein and that made me feel like CRAP. I'm on a liquid diet, although I can have beans and stuff like that. I struggle with getting all my liquids I'm still. I'm working out on a elliptical 2/3 times a day and have lost 20LBS..... it's crazy to me. But now o find myself getting mad at my husband and son. I'm starting to think about food again, tired of baby food and just bland food in general. So my husband and son go out to eat almost every night and I'm getting pissed. I'm like you see me starting to struggle with the food I have to eat and then you tell me your going to McDonald's, taco bell and things like that. I'm mad. Is this normal?
  8. I am so proud and excited of and for you. You did it. I knew you could. You have been there for all of us. Your an amazing person. Pray all the happiness and health that one is able to have. Best of luck, LOSER
  9. I dont know what I thought I should have lost. Lol. I just put extreme expectations on myself. Does it hurt for a second when you drink or eat something. I get a pain but then it goes away
  10. I've been doing pretty good. Came home from the hospital on Wednesday and did pretty good. Thursday sucked because of extreme gas pain. Friday was great. Less sore got ally meds, liquids, food, and exercise in. Felt great. Today I felt sick all day. Wasn't hungry at all. Didn't get all my protein in. Not a lot of pain. So disappointed in myself. I've only lost 8.5 lbs since Wednesday. I hope tomorrow is better. Hate feeling sorry for myself
  11. Waaaahoooo. So very proud of you. You will be and do great.
  12. I did think of ya. Lol. A lot of needles. My veins were running for the hills. I was sooo mad with myself. But oh well. Lol. Thanks for the help. Yesterday was a very painful day.
  13. Went in to surgery about 10:30 and was in my room around noon. Had to have two different IVs. I hate needles. Woke up feeling pretty good. Bruises all over my arms. The tried 6 different places to get an Iv. The surgical team prayed with me before I went under. Woke up ready to start everything new. I was ready to walk. They said usually people only walk from their bed to door and back at first. I walked 2 laps then my second walk was 3 laps. I walked over 2 miles in the time I was there. My first IV busted today in my hand,pain...wow. Plus my hand looks horrible. Gross. Had a lot of blood taken It wasn't horrible but man I'm I happy to be home. Having some more intense pain. Have good meds. My Tate buds have already changed. Jello is way to sweet and the yogurt that I tried was sweet as well. Gained almost 10lbs in the hospital due to all the fluids they pump into you.
  14. Sometimes pretty bad. I can handle pain, but sometimes is just like WOW. You can do it.
  15. Home from surgery. Doing good. Sore as Hell. I walked over 2 miles while there. Surgery was only 45mins. Good luck everyone. Remember to walk and do your breathing. Yawll will do great.
