  1. I had that and I would feel like I had to have a BM and once I did I would feel better. But after a while ot quit helping. I doubled over in so much pain i couldn't stand it. Went to emergency room and they hooked me up to an IV and gave gave me a dose of liquid pain meds. I have to say it felt so strange because the pain was trying to win the battle. I ended up having a sonogram which was inconclusive and then an MRI which was inconclusive also. They k ew something was wrong though cause I had another attack in the MRI machine. I exploratory surgery and that's when it was found. It was a hernia near the mesentary gland. I was in hospital on outpatient basis but off work a couple days with restrictions due to the job I had.
