    I understand your concern. I also have the implanon. My ob/gym doc explained that hormones are directly linked to your fat cells, so with weight loss it is much easier to get pregnant. I was told that implanon works better than the pill because it doesn't have to be absorbed thru your stomach. My doc also advised me to be very careful and consider a backup method for the first 2 years postoperative.

    I use the Body Fortress whey protein powder. You can get a large can of it for about 14 bucks at Walmart. The chocolate tastes great. I haven't tried the other flavors.
