Dont Lose Focus. Its Worth It!
Definitely did. Change up your routine a little. But it's perfectly normal for your weight to even out, and then you'll drop again. I've actually gained 10 pounds and they said its normal for your body to drop, go back up and stabilize...well, I'm not okay with that lol so I've increased my workouts and I've actually put myself on a "diet". Keep it up girl, you have a long way to go, promise you aren't done losing!!! I honestly never thought I'd be where I am today, some days it's harder than others but you just have to look at the big picture. It's for you! All for you! And thank you! You'll feel it (if you don't already!) about yourself too! )

Ideas...help!
Oh wow, I didn't even think of that sort of stuff! When I think of lunch I think of sandwiches...typical high school lunches lol. What kind of soups do you get? Like low soidum? I am actually done with school at noon, so I am (most days) able to come home and make a lunch. Stating tomorrow I'm going to try and cut out breads or "white fluffys" as much as I can. Thank you for the ideas!

Ideas...help!
I'm running out of ideas for lunch... For breakfast I've been doing shakes w/fruit. Snacks like, String cheese w/fruit, Celery & peanut butter, Cottage cheese w/fruit, Almonds, Hard Boiled egg w/fruit.. And shakes for dinner but I don't really eat lunch and I know I need to... idk what to do for it though..

Dont Lose Focus. Its Worth It!
Thanks everyone! Beth, I didn't work out as much as I should have. I've recently started going to the gym 5 days a week. Usually an hour of cardio is my focus.

Scared To Death Help!
Definitely keeping you in my prayers! I think I'm the only one who wasn't nervous for surgery, even the morning of surgey I kept trying to physc myself out, but I was completly calm. Has anyone noticed after surgey that the anxiety has decreased? I used to have pretty bad anxiety but I've noticed I don't have panic/anxiety attacks anymore.

Weight Gain After Surgery?
Thanks everyone! I'm glad I'm not alone, I was starting to get a little depressed. I had never heard of a revision until a few months ago. My mom had the surgery 17 years ago and was very successful until about 4 years ago. Her intestine had clappsed, therefor her smaller stomach reconnected with the old one. They did a barium swallow and the Dr. asked her multiple times if she was positive she had the surgey because there was no indication of her ever having it done...crazy huh? But they have to go in and do a full bypass because there's nothing to "fix" lol. The stomach is a crazy thing.

Weight Gain After Surgery?
Has anyone gained their weight back after surgery? I was 294 and went down to 180. I am now back up to 196...but is this normal? I'm 18 months post surgery.

Tummy Tuck?
I am going to hit my two year mark in January and I am considering doing a tummy tuck. I carried my weight all over but definitely in the stomach. It's not bad, but I am still in an L-XL top because of it. I can fit into a Medimum but it doesn't look good lol. Has anyone regretted doing one?

Any Teens ? Maybe?... No?... Okay :(
Honestly, it's changed a lot! I was on Indpendent studies and I actually decided to go back to high school part time, that was a major thing for me. But I also deal with a lot of stuff everyone does, my biggest struggle was going through the identity crisis. It was more the people around me that had a hard time, I was learning to branch out and do different stuff and it was an adjustment.

Tomorrow Is My Surgery!
I completely understand. Know your limits. I felt too good after my first surgery, I didn't even take pain meds when I got home. And I was released a day early because I was doing so well. Just be careful. Really, you'll be okay!

Tomorrow Is My Surgery!
It was internal, the size of a pin hole too. I washed a car (stupid, I know) but since I was feeling so good, I honestly did't think much about it. Woke up the next morning doubled over in pain. The town I live in had to medvac me to Stanford (my surgeon is there) I had emergency surgery that night. I actually ended up getting sepsis and one morning they couldn't get my vitals under control. It was so sucky, and that time my stomach looked pretty intense with all the bandages. They did go through the same incesions. I know it was my fault because my doctor had never had this happen to him.

Tomorrow Is My Surgery!
Good luck! Prayers sent your way!!! Like everyone has said, walk as soon as you can. I got up the first night and it wasn't as bad as everyone had told me it would be. My only advice is to be careful and no heavy lifting. I did great the first time after surgery. But two weeks out and I had complications because of a tear. My fault, but still very painful. I was hospilitized for a week. And that time I was down. So just be careful!!
