  1. I had surgery June 1, 2007 and 2 weeks before my first fill in early July. My longest incision right above my port got infected. I am still till this day getting that treated by my doctor. It is taking the longest to heal. He has put me on Levaquin 750mg for 21 days and now another 21 days. He is treating it as much as he can, but if it continues to not heal my port will have to come out for 3 months. I just keep gauges over it and breathable tape and change it 2 to 3 times a day. I definately understand what you are experiencing.
