  1. I got gastric bypass on march 6 2012 so I'm just a little post op but when I did my psych eval the dr wasn't to keen on me getting the surgery I'm 28 but I'm depressed she did in the end approve. I told her did u ever thing that I'm depressed cause I'm so big . If course she was about 125 lbs and had nothing to say back. My suggestion to u is just make sure ur ready to do this is a big descison to make but I will say I wish I wouldn't have waited so Long and gained so much more weight just remember u have to do the diet for life or u could gain back the weight. I wish u best of luck !!!
