  4. I'm officially scheduled for Nov 4th with my last pre-op on the 3rd Don't get me wrong I'm over the moon of excitement, but I'm feeling slightly guilty. Not sure if it's "normal" to feel that way. Good luck everyone!!
  5. So exited for you Mine is scheduled for Nov 4th!!
  6. Thank you for sharing I was looking for a Protein shake that I could buy locally. Keep us posted.
  7. Thank you everyone I'm still over the moon! Lol
  8. I'm crying tears of joy! I was originally set to be sleeved on Oct of 2013, but because I had started a new position it didn't happen. I will admit I was angry with myself for not going through the first time since it would have been self pay. Six months after starting my position my coworker informed me that our insurance covered the procedure, and that's what started my six month weight loss supervised journey. In a way I feel like I have been given a second chance. I'm ready to take that journey and rediscover myself
  9. My breaking point was this year at Disney Land when I couldn't fit through the ride entrance. I felt so embarrassed ,and the worst part was when I had to ask for a seatbelt extender on my flight. My goal is to go back to Disney and ride all the rides with my girls
  10. Has anyone been approved by Regence BlueShield in Washington State? If you have how long did take for approval?
  11. Hi I'm from Wenatchee and will be having my first presurgical appt Sept 26th at NWWLS.
  12. Hi everyone It is starting to look like I will be scheduled for Nov 2014!!! So far this July I will have met my 5/6 required PCP appt's required by my insurance. Good luck to everyone.
  13. I haven't had my surgery , but I'm expecting to have it this Dec 2013. So, my question is how long did it take to recover and return to work?
  14. Ok I will meet all the requirements this month for my sleeve, but I will be starting a new job at the end of month. I'm not sure now if I will be able to have my surgery in Dec. I feel like crying since I worked so hard to meet the requirements.
  15. Good luck everyone I'm also anticipating for a Dec surgery.
  16. I'm also hoping for Dec of this year. I've never had any type of surgery; therefore, I have never taken meds beside over the counter meds. The only thing keeping me from having surgery in November is having a long Waite list for a sleep study that is required. So, keeping my fingers crossed that the days go by fast lol
