  1. Anyone have any suggestions for reducing the amount of fat on your liver?
  2. I had my lap band out last Friday and surgery went well. Originally my doctor said he would do the sleeve in 4 weeks, however he said my liver is fatty and he wants me to lose some weight first before surgery. Um...hello...if it was that easy I would not be going through surgery. I go see the cardiologist tomorrow as well. Followup to lapband surgery is on Friday and I will find out more.
  3. I am on my way to the hospital for my band removal surgery. The doctor called and moved my surgery up to 10:30. I am so excited to get this thing out of me.

  7. Congrats! I got approved yesterday. I had my labs done today, go to my PC doc on Monday for final clearance and then I will get my date. Should be the last week of October/first week of November. I have my lap band removed in two days. Getting a little nervous.
  8. My doctor was going to do it all at once, but said there was too high of a risk of complicatons. Good luck with your surgery. Did you have any success with the band?

  10. I had the lap band surgery in January 2010. Within 4 months I lost 85 pounds, however I started having complications with the band and had to have the fluid removed more than 5 times. The band is coming out Sept. 27 and 4 weeks later they will he doing the sleeve surgery.
