  1. I want to ask people for some advise. Almost 4 years ago I had sleeve surgery. I was at 340 lbs when I went in for my 1st Dr. apt and was at 223lb the day of my surgery. I made it down to 269 and now I am back up to 305. It seems like I can eat pretty much any size portion I want. Yes I do have some discomfort when I eat too much, but I know my sleeve has stretched a lot. I have tried cutting down my meal sizes, but cant get down under 300 . I feel like a total failure. What are my options? Can my Dr help? Am I eligible for the sleeve again or is there another surgery I could get? Will my insurance cover it? Lots of questions I know... Thanks in advance.
  2. You will do great! Prayers sent.
  3. Good for you! I felt great after 5 days also, it was nice to get out of bed without much pain at all. Now after almost 3 weeks i am still trying to get my Water in. But I know I will get better with time. And down almost 40 lbs!
  4. You are correct..I need to get 64 oz a day, but it was tough the 1st few days. I am getting about 48 a day now and its getting a lot better each day. I am also eating 2 sf popsicles a day. today my goal is 64 oz of Water. I am feeling 100 % back to normal in just 6 days post op!
  5. I was sleeved on 10-8 and everyday I am doing better. Not much pain getting out of bed today. My stomach sounds like a battle going on in there, and finally having a BM. I am hoping that will help with the gas pains. Still trying to reach 30 oz of Clear liquids a day. sugar free popsicles have never tasted so good. I have not been on any pain meds since Thursday. Feeling better every day!
  6. I was sleeved on the 8th also. Got home yesterday. The gas pains were terrible until last night when I started passing gas...man did that help! struggling to get my fluids in , but it will happen. Hang in there! We will all feel better this weekend.
  7. Tomorrow I have my surgery! I am very excited to start ! I know that I will be in good hands and have a lot of support. I will check in often! William
