  6. Thanks. It is funny you should ask. I was in work the other day and said hello to someone I have worked with for years but hadn't seen in awhile. She apologized to me because she said she sat next to me in a meeting and didn't realize it was me. She was very happy for me. I feel the weight loss in the things I can do physically but I still don't see the weight loss the way others do.

  14. It has been one year since my surgery. I have lost 135 lbs so far. I would still like to lose another 30. During my first few months, it was this website, the success stories, the advice and yes the more difficult stories that helped me. I have experienced things over the past 6 months that I haven't done in years - concerts, trips and even a boot camp exercise program. I found muscles I didn't even know I had. I do not have one regret about my decision to have the surgery. I am looking forward to life and living it instead of just watching. Right before surgery One year later
