Good morning girls!! How's everyone doing today? It's our one week anniversary!!! wooo hoo! Today I'm going to do my hair make up and go have some win ton broth for lunch with my husband!

Okay so I'm six days post op and I'm feeling great couldn't have been more blessed with this experience. I'm really over having the same thing. Some Greek yogurt, broth, cream soup. Does anyone have any ideas for me that work for you. Much appreciated!!

I'm not for sure if full is the right way to say it. I feel like I need to burb and its like a air bubble. I sip pretty slow, but sip all the time. From what my doctor said to me I really won't feel full until I start eating food. It's much easier to tell then. Hope the pain stop soon for you! I walk five min every hour and drink drink drink. It makes a huge difference to walk.

I'm in day six out and honestly feeling amazing!! I actually feel like I want to eat something other then liquids, but I'm following my plan. Stepped on the scale today and so far from my starting weight of 208.4 I weighed 195.3!!!! Amazing to be under 200! I have my ten day follow up Friday and I'm hoping I can start puréed foods soon. I'm able to get about 47oz of fluid down plus my shakes today so far! Best of luck to everyone!! I feel so good I hope to get a mani pedi Friday!! !! No regrets!! 100% in love with my sleeve!!

I feel the same way!! It's amazing. Just a little gas here and there, but I think this is how you should feel! Just take it as a blessing and be thankful. I would not try to find the negative in things, look ahead to the positives. Keep to the diet the doctor ordered and you'll be on your way soon enough. I'm 6 days post op and I keep looking forward to the great life ahead of me!

It's very normal! I'm 5 days post op and I was very scared. My doc had then give me some Meds before I was taken into the or to calm me and I do not recall anything after that. It took about a second and my husband said I was sleeping. It was for the best when I woke up I was in ICU and my nurse, doc, and husband were there. Said everything went perfect! Then I woke up next when they had me start to walk about four hours later. I just remember the Cotten swabs and chap stick were my BFF the first 24 hours. You are going to do amazing!! Just say a prayer and enjoy the new healthy you. Everyday has a new challenge, but I am starting to feel better. Good luck!!

The grape I had yesterday wasn't that bad. I think tonight I'm going to have some soup. If I can keep it up. Sleeping has been awful. A couple hours here and there. How's everyone else doing?

I'm not for sure if you have a recliner or a chase lounger. That is what I'm sleeping on at home, cause my doctor said if you lay flat in bed pain can get worse.

I'm not for sure if its normal. I can't feel anything going down. Maybe you could call your doctor and ask him. Hope it gets better soon.

Okay I'll try the apple sauce. I started taking my pain med around clock today and I can tell the difference. I took zofran and they also have a nausea patch behind my ear. It suppose to last for three days. If this is the worst part I'll take it. My blood pressure has been normal ever since surgery and that's huge for me.

I've had a few. Just started that today. Anyone else having issues trying to drink? I'm suppose to be getting 64oz a day I've got up to about 28 so far.

My cut on the left side is the most painful. He said that's where they pulled my stomach out. I thought this morning it was going to be a good day, I spoke to soon. Feeling so much gas and its making me puke when I sip a little bit of water. Anyone else feeling this.

Well I'm not for sure if this helps, but I just had mine done on Oct 2 at fort Campbell. They haven't stopped the surgeries there the nurse said. Not for sure what any other bases are doing, but I was so pleased with my entire processes. My doctor was amazing! Best of luck!

Okay, so I was given the non slip socks, but I found some nice fuzzy ones at Wal-Mart in a two pack for 3 dollars. It was worth it to me. As far as bringing a ipad or anything. That's your call I was sleeping most of the time I was there and didn't even think about ipads or anything. I had my cell phone and that was good enough. Your going to be tired from the drugs and they are going to have you walking. Best of luck! I would make sure you bring chapstick!! That was a must for me.
