  7. Saying a prayer for you! You will do fine.
  8. Sounds like he needs education. He is probably afraid and you have to remember he had no idea you were considering this, so he has been blindsided by the idea. From his perspective you are happy with your body. If he loves you for you he will support you even if he doesn't agree. At the end of the day you have to do it for yourself and nobody else. You are the one that has to live with this decision forever. I hope it all works out the way you want!
  9. My date is 2/6/14! I can't believe it! Things are going so fast. They are so organized, they have scheduled all of my post-op appointments with the surgeon and NUT up to 5 months OUT!
  10. My information was submitted on Thursday and I just got my approval! Beyond ecstatic! Much to do.
  11. Anything BUT lotion, perfume, and shower gel!
  12. Thanks! I have no problem becoming a stalker temporarily! Lol!
  13. All of my paperwork was submitted to insurance this afternoon. I think I look good on paper for this surgery, but we shall soon find out what my insurance company thinks. I'm a nervous wreck!
  14. My Nut said the same thing about gummies. I can't tolerate the flintstone chewables...yuck. I will have to find something new.
  15. Congratulations! It feels good to be a "loser" doesn't it?
  16. You look fabulous ! Keep up the great work.
  17. Amazing! Congratulations! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  18. I told my PCP about my decision to have WLS today. She was amazing and thinks it is the best decision ever! I just love her! She told me should would send all my documents asap, and if I need anything further just call. She also ran the labs I need for pre-op clearance. She also ran some of her own "so we can see how they improve after surgery". Found out yesterday that I passed my psych evaluation (good thing since I am a psych nurse)! So, all I am waiting for is approval from insurance. Is this really going to happen?
  19. 5'10" and my goal is 175#. I think that will look good and still give me some curves.
  20. I have completed my psych eval, got documents faxed from my PCP, and attempted the sleep study (failed it and have to retake). I have an appointment on the 5th of Nov. with my PCP to get my labs drawn. The surgeons office said they can submit with all of those things. I apparently do have sleep apnea but I just didn't sleep long enough for them to get my c-pap settings. No biggie, now that I know what to expect it will be easy, I'll just take a sleeper. It's starting to feel real!
  21. Congratulations! You must be very excited, relieved, and nervous!
