  1. I just hope more pounds start dropping off. But gradually. It feels good to get out of the apartment and off the couch. My niece noticed that I have lost a few pounds it feels good to know that people notice.
  2. It takes time. Some people lose quicker than others. My weight loss is gradual. Not what I expected but I have started walking so that will help a lot. I don't want to lose weight too fast and look sick. Not everyone knows I've had the surgery and I want to keep it that way.
  3. Thanks. It really felt good to get out there. The weather was perfect. My sister walked with me. It is on now! I feel motivated!
  4. What are the most effective workout techniques to losing weight? The pounds come off quicker if you're active. I need to be more active.

  6. I completely understand. Trust me you are not alone. I'm having the diet blues myself. But we just have to be patient. I am so tired of my foods that I want to scream! I will say the pureed stuff is better than the liquid diet. It gets old too though.
  7. I am sick of soup now. The liquid stuff is now horrible to me. Wish I had a private chef.
  8. Thanks. I may try this eventually. Trying to fight the cravings with healthy and appropriate foods. This is rough! Ugh!
  9. Has anyone tried those nutrigrain waffles? What about popcorn? I am craving both!
  10. I knew that this wouldn't be easy but wow... this is really hard. Trying to combat the foods I can't have. Being on this mushy/liquid diet and eating the same stuff is getting old. I know that the end result will be worth it but getting there is a journey.
  11. Okay... I officially have the diet blues. It's been three weeks since my surgery and I feel like I'm stuck in a rut.
  12. I'll check into that. I need all the help I can get.
  13. Well I had my first post-op check up today. I've lost 12lbs. I thought it would be more. I do know that I need to be more active in order to lose more weight. It's just so hard. Any advice? He did say that I could start on mushy foods like green beans and fish. I get to eat more than soup! Yay!
  14. I hate that feeling! It is so frustrating. I do hope it passes soon.
  15. I hate that feeling! I hope it passes soon. I can't deal with that. It used to do that when I would drink. But that passed.
