  1. I couldn't drink water for like the first 5 days after surgery but apple juice (diluted with water) went down so much better. I'm still not drinking as much as I'd like to but it really gets better each day. My nutritionist had me start soft foods yesterday, struggling a lot with that. I can only have a bite or two but she said that in the first couple weeks don't worry about what you're consuming and to go at your body's pace.
  2. I had mine on the 23rd. How is everyone feeling?
  3. Thank you so much! Wish you the best as well!
  4. I have the gas x mouth strips. I am now taking Prilosec (crushed) and 1 strip and it makes me feel so much better

  6. Yea, those hurt just as bad. I tried some warn tomato Soup tonight and that seemed to go down pretty well :-)
  7. Thank you! I will definitely try both of those suggestions.
  8. Good day everyone!! I am 5 days post-op today and I am struggling with my liquid diet. Even when I take extremely small sips of room temperature Water I feel extreme pains in my chest. I am worried that I am not able to consume the adequate amount of nutrients. Did anyone else experience this? Any tips are greatly appreciated!! Xo Michele
