  1. That's awesome!!!!!Great job! I was just able to buy a belt 2 week ago and it fit. Its a great feeling.
  2. I am 5"11 and my aim is 175. I don't want to look like a bean pole either.
  3. I had this same problem. Mine was due to the fact I was not eating enough. I know at this stage you are still on liquids and even though we have had surgery to curb your appetite your body still craves those calories. I started to notice my headaches went away after I was able to do soft foods.
  4. I am a little over 6 weeks out from surgery and I am already off all meds!!!!!! I have been diabetic since the age of 10 and have been on and off meds for last 18 years but as of last week I have normal blood levels and no longer have to take my bp meds for the protein in my urine. I cannot believe it happened so fast it feels awesome.
  5. I lost about 15 pounds in 2 weeks. But had to do full liquids with no dairy no solids.
  6. Not to scare you but mine lasted 2 weeks after my surgery. I think its different for everyone.
  7. I actually am at the same stage and I am able to eat soft fruit. So what I do is eat my protein and take a few bites of watermelon in between and I find it helps with dry mouth some what
  8. Thank you everyone I was just worried because I actually got birth control implant that was suppose to stop it. And I thought I would be in the clear but low and behold here it is. Thank you ladies for the honesty
  9. Ok I just had my surgery a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately I few days afterwards my monthly friend came back after about year and a half of not having it . My question is did this happen to you? And how long did it last? Its been well over a week for me and there seems to be no end in site.
  10. I just went thru this 2 weeks ago and I understand you completely. I have a daughter also and she was my motivation. Good luck 2morrow!1
  11. Hi everyone I just wanted to introduce myself I am new to the forums but not new the site. When I started my journey I would always come here for answers to all my questions. I had my surgery August 14th of this year and I am still adjusting to a new life. So far I have not had any complications. I hope that on here I can make a few friends and have a good source of support while I go thru this journey.
