  2. I eat three meals and three snacks a day. I incorporate protein in each meal and snack which keeps me feeling very full and satisfied. Always eat your protein first........If you feel hungry, try just drinking some water. Sometimes its just your head telling you that you are hungry and sometimes your not.

  4. You are going to hear negative things about the surgery. People think its the easy way out and it is not. It is a tool not a quick fix. I have found the people who talk negatively about it really don't know much about the surgery. People who are heavy are looked at as sloppy and lazy. It took me 10 years of trying to lose weight every way possible. I had my surgery Feb 11th of this year and I have lost 72 lbs in 6 months. It has transformed my life. I have 28 more lbs till my goal weight. It was the best decision I have ever made. Don't let anyway talk you out of it...........
  5. It depends on your requirements. I had a 6 month requirement also and I had to go to my primary for 6 months of weighing in etc. It didn't start till my first appt with my primary and I had to be weighed in once a month there along with other things such as a Psych evaluation, ekg etc.......Hope this helps.
