  5. Well here goes, I got to my heaviest weight 334 and decided I need to make serious changes. I am 37 but like most I can lose weight but can't keep the weight off. I went through the year long screening and education process for insurance to cover the surgery. My surgery day was July 16, 2013. I did a 10 day liquid diet and lost 19 lbs. My surgery went smooth with very little pain and no gas pains or nausea. I worked myself up so much before the surgery I almost left the hospital without doing the surgery. I stayed in the hospital for 2 nights and went home, hardest part of going home was the watching all the commercials about food and watching my kids eat. I started my soft foods on July 30 and have been doin great, I never even think about food much anymore, I have to tell myself to eat 3-4 times a day. As of August 9th I am down to 288 and feeling great, still learning to listen to my sleeve but enjoying getting energy back and watching the weight fall off.
  6. I am in Ct and would love to find fellow sleevers to talk with maybe meet for coffee
