  1. Yes usually a pretty wide mid-section with love handles. Pre-op is going ok, I think. Some ups and downs - I have to be on a 2 week liquid Protein diet for 2 weeks and its pretty hard. I ate a few times, especially yesterday. I was so weak and miserable. But today I woke up and I lost weight. On Tuesday when I started I weighed 250, today I weighed 244.5. Sometimes I feel like a failure because I'm starving through this diet and sometimes give in to the urge to eat something. But mostly I'm sticking to the requirements. I don't want my surgery to be rescheduled due to my cheating, so I'm a bit nervous.
  2. Your videos are great and very enlightening. You also have a pretty great personality. Our starting weights are basically the same also and I'm 5'2 apple-shape.
  3. I'm definitely subscribing and I would love that! Thank you.
  4. I wonder if I will have the same feeling of weakness as I do during the pre op diet?
  5. Congratulations! How is it treating you so far? I'm having mine at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Center, on 9/3. I'm on 2 week pre op liquid diet right now.
  6. I would really like to have a friend or friends are that going through the pre-op process or was just recently sleeved. Someone I can talk to often, and even work out with. Support each other. Let me know if interested. Thanks.
  7. You look really good so soon! Cleaning the room could make for some good low intensity exercise. (Thats a positive way to look at it). Lol
  8. Yes. It's been tough mentally also. Everywhere I go I feel that people are eating in my face. Lol sometimes I get so offended, but I know that they are not the ones that need to change, I do. I just feel very pressured right now. I called the surgeons office on day 2 and asked if I could just even have a piece of fish and they told me no.
  9. Thank you so much for that. I really needed to hear something. I'm stressed and getting depressed over not being able to stick to this diet 100%.
  10. My two week pre-op liquid only diet began on 8/20 and my surgery is on 9/3. It's been so hard. I've been starving, nauseous, and gassy. I tried so hard to stay on track but I really cracked this morning. I felt so physically weak. I cracked open a small can of tuna fish ( which I only ate half of one serving) and some raw spinach and gobbled it down. It didn't have a chance. I just needed that little bit, and now I feel so much better. But now I feel like I failed. I don't want any complications during the surgery because of this. I even lost 5 lbs since Tuesday. I'm just really worried. Any thoughts, advice? Thanks.
  11. I'm on the two week liquid fast before my surgery. It's the first day and it was kind of rough. I really wanted to eat. I'm hungry. I feel guilty for feeling so miserable so early on. How did those who did the liquid fast survive it?
  12. 31 yo here, no kids due to PCOS. I hope to after the surgery. I live in Queens, NY too, and I'm scheduled for 9/3/13. I'm 5'2 and 254lbs.
  13. Mine is September 3rd, and ill be having mine at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Ctr, LI. I'm nervous too.
