I'm on Sept 30th also. Day 5 of liquid diet, it's getting harder instead of easier. What's up with that?

I'm 58 and started my 2 week liquid diet today. This is the year of me for a change and I am nervous and excited to get started.

Hi - I am new to the group, and am scheduled for surgery Sept 30. My question is, I have to go to a conference the end of October, and am wondering how will I join the group for meals, what will I be able to eat if anything, and how will I handle it. I am not telling anyone about the surgery so this could be tricky. Any answers?
