Thank you all for the comments. I will keep you posted. I pray all goes well with your surgery and with my situation. I think things will get better. I didn't know there was a minimum blood level, becausr i would have never went until my blood count met the requirements. I have learned something and that is never pay everthing until you are there. I used them, but wasn't sleeved, I am trying to hold all comments until I see what the refund will be, since I didn't get a chest xray or an EKG and left the hotel early.

Hello All, Some of you know, that after sending in my labs prior to going to Mexico I was cleared even though my blood count was 10.2. The day of surgery my surgeon did not preform the sleeve on me because my blood count was not the minimum of 12. I feel like doctors should put the care of their patient before anything else. My concern is that I paid extra for rooms, paid all the drivers to and from the hospital, like I would if I was talking a cab and paid my driver to cross the boarder to take me to the airport. This was supposed to be all included. My question is has anyone else been rejected and if so, did you get a refund?? I was told I was going to get a refund, but I haven't had any contact from time after call my US coordinator. I am with Mexcio Bariatric Center.

Thank you. I am glad that Dr. Valenzuela is do very thorough. I am going to continue on my WLJ. If I could lose weight before surgery, then I can continue. I don't see food like I did. Cutting back really made me not want to over eat and fir me a regular size meal is over eating. I am still in Mexico and will leave Saturday instead of Monday. I have been here 5 days already and I am ready to start exercising and adding that protein that made me feel so much better. Overall, I had a great time here.

No Sleeve for me. I went to the hospital today and my blood count was too low. I appreciate Drs. Valenzuela and Cabrera for not doing a surgery on someone they were concerned about. Oddly enough, I am okay. Being healthy is best for me right now.

The best on I have ever tasted was Premier Protein Chocolate. 30 grams of protein, 2 grams of carbs a nd 1 gram sugar. I get mine at Sams for around $16. Taste so good!!!

What is PB2?

I am in TJ with my mom and sister and we have been treated like royalty. The men at the hotel have bern wonderful and the taxi that took me to Walmart waited an hour for me and didn't charge ne extra. There are good and bad in every city. I would come back again. I even went to the dentist who was a superstar.

I know that's right. I am here now a few days before surgery and if I could just taste it, bit I won't. I rather be little and cute.

My coordinator Cindy told me about Premire Protein (chocolate) and it's soo good that I feel like l am cheating. 30 grams of protein in each drink.

I was going to have it, but I didn't want to wait ir pay the extra money. It also said that they could add a couple of incisions if needed, so I will jydt work on any scars I may have.

I am very excited. My stomach has been in knots for days. I am sure it will get better.

I sure will I'm so glad you had a successful experience with her. I have been up late reading all the blog information every night trying to calm my nerves. I'm very excited.

Wow thanks George for the update and information. Cindy is my coordinator for MBC and she has been wonderful she gave me her home selling email address and I'll email her call all the time I pray we have a good experience when we go on thus Sunday. I have my sleeve in Wednesday with, Dr. Valenzuela.

I am having surgery with Valenzuela on July 31st. I will be there on the 27th until August 5th, just in case. My coordinator Cindy had the same surgeon and she's doing great. I am going through Mexico Bariatrics.
