I had mine on July 9 and I struggled with eating because I wanted to chew something and I was on my menstrual cycle during my second week. Purée week was hell for me but now I am on soft foods and I fell better. Keep up the great work ladies
My surgeon said I can play football if I wanted to but when I went to see the Nurse Practitioner a week after my surgery she suggested I become a rock star in my liquids before I advance from walking. I am in my 3 week post-op and I do a light jog and 30 minutes of Zumba, but I had to increase my water intake by double
I also go back to work next week and I work 12 hr shifts where sometimes u don't have a chance to sit down and eat. I would love to get ideas of things to pack for 12 hours, where I can also have my protein. Has anyone tried to have any type of lettuce wrap with tuna salad during your soft phase
Thanks ladies. This is so new to me and I know I have to change my habits but sometimes you just want what you want. Guess I have to find an alternative to it.
I am starting my 3rd week after the sleeve and I wanted to see if anyone had problems with cravings. Even though I am not hungry, I crave to chew something. I struggled with purées and now I am on soft foods.
