Hi, my sleeve is also scheduled for tomorrow. I had a hamburger on Sat. and called the nurse yesterday and she said as long as I am on liquids Monday and Tuesday I should be okay. It has been hard for me not to eat. Usually by the third day i am famished. I take thyroid meds so it makes me much hungrier. Good luck to you tomorrow. Stay in touch. We can do this!!!! I am praying for you!

Hi I am getting sleeved one week from today. I started to do liquids today but was starving all day. I had to have a lean dinner. I am on thyroid meds so that makes me really hungry. One week from today. Very excited.

M y surgery date is a week from tomorrow. Had my last pre-op visit today. Little nervous about the whole procedure.

Hello, My doctor put me on a pre-op diet of Protein shakes before my surgery of Aug. 14th. I started the diet on Sat. July 27th and today I went to Wendy’s for my favorite hamburger. I can’t believe I did that. I have been trying to be good and I hope I didn’t ruin my system. I have read through the forum and some doctors put their patience’s on a pre-op diet one week before. Does anybody think I should extend my date since I had hamburgers today? I can surely relate with wanting to eat everything

Hi, I just joined this site and love the comments. I am scheduled for August 14th but it depends on the tests they are doing on Aug 6th and my insurance is still in pending status. I am a bit excited and afraid. I have been 130 pounds overweight for about 13 years. I am ready to see old self again. I am in the pre-op stage doing shakes, little vegies, and low cal dinner. I also have a thyroid problem so this is hard because I am so HUNGREEEEEE......
