1. I definitely never thought it would happen! Thank you!
2. I definitely think I'm suffering from FFG syndrome! But I'm trying to leave it behind. Congratulations on your date! I'm sure you'll do great and love being sleeved!
3.

Nope, I'm getting cut on Wednesday! I'm so excited/nervous! I'm 5'7". My starting weight is a wee bit lower, but I'm also a couple years older than you (27), so maybe it will even out. I'd be over the moon for results like yours, so fingers are tightly crossed! And again, congrats on your success!
That's so exciting! Good luck on Wednesday! You'll do great and I'm sure you'll be in a bikini before you know it!
4. Ahh I never thought I'd hear that statement about me! Thank you!!
5. Thanks everyone for your encouragement! I feel way more confident to wear it now!
6. Congrats on your weight loss! I'm sure you'll be at goal in no time!
7. Thanks!! I had the sleeve! Best decision I ever made!
8. Thank you! I'm about 5'6" and I'm 23. My loose skin isn't as bad others but I definitely notice it: but I'd rather have loose skin than skin filled with fat. Have you had surgery yet?
9. Thanks everyone! I still see a very obese person in the mirror so it's hard to see what the new me really looks like.
10. Thanks y'all! My highest weight was 273 and now I'm 165! I had surgery on May 15, 2013. Lylabelle- congrats on your surgery! You'll do great! Here's a before an after pic so you see my pre op!
11. So I bought my very first bikini yesterday! My skin on my stomach is a little saggy so I'm nervous to wear it but I'll work up the courage one day! This is a total NSV!
12. I get about 70 ounces of water in a day. I just don't have the desire to eat much because the only way I lose weight is by having very low calories. I can easily maintain with a little higher caloric intake and exercise but I'd still like to lose some. Not sure if maybe I'm lacking certain vitamins that may be making me so dizzy.
13. I have been extremely dizzy and light headed lately. I have to catch myself sometimes at work if I turn around or get up too quickly. I'm 11 months post op and down 108 pounds. I'm trying to lose another 15-20. I eat about 600 calories a day give or take a little. I've tried to increase my calories but I have a really hard time mentally. Any suggestions on how to rid of this dizziness?
14. Hi! I had a similar situation to you. I also had a pulmonary embolism and a dvt and was on Coumadin for a long time. I have a genetic blood clotting disorder. I had my sleeve surgery and was put on lovenox prior to the surgery and afterwards and had no complications. I was worried about the blood thinners and surgery together but the staff seemed confident that everything would go smoothly and the only effect I noticed was a little extra bruising.
15. I'm 23 and was sleeved 10 months ago and I'm down 106 pounds. It was the best decision of my life and I have not regretted it once. But with that said, not only do I eat tiny portions due to my sleeve I eat clean and exercise regularly and lead an overall healthy lifestyle which I'm sure you know is key to success. I think as long as he truly understands that and is ready to embrace that part of this life change, than age does not matter. I opted for the surgery at a young age because I have watched my family members suffer from obesity related health issues. I absolutely did not want to go through that so I took advantage of this tool now to prevent those issues before they started. The sleeve is great for any age as long as you're mentally prepared for the work it takes.
16. I was sleeved 5/15/13. I'm down 106 pounds! Highest weight was 273 and today I'm 167 : )
17. Haha! Thank you! Fantastic is definitely the goal!
18. Thanks y'all! I never even realized that I look younger now but I guess I do!
19. Thank you! I think I just might hang it up! That's a great idea for the rough days!
20. So grateful for the amazing tool I've been given! I've felt pretty down today about my stall in weight loss but I did a comparison pic and it reminded me how far I've really come. 103 pounds gone forever!
21. I do eat fruits and veggies. I snack on carrots and apples. When I eat lower calories I usually get about 60-70 grams of protein. When I've been upping my calories like the nut suggested I've been aiming for 90+ grams of protein. I just feel like I'm constantly eating when I aim to eat 1000 calories and that is hard for me physically and mentally.
22. I couldn't physically consume anymore. But that's the point of surgery. I'm definitely able to eat a little more now but I'm desperately afraid of gaining weight back. I pretty much only eat high protein foods now and in the beginning. Eggs, chicken, fish, turkey, low fat cheese, protein shakes and some fruits and veggies.
