Is anyone else on a total protein, no carb diet post-op? I am only allowed meat, cheese, beans, seafood and Greek yogurt. I am 7 weeks out. Don't really mind the diet but I am sooooo tired and cranky...

2 month check in Today I am at 229... Started at 272.... 255 day of surgery. I'm satisfied with the results!

Sooo, went to a wedding last night and they had sugar free cake. I went for it. It was so good and I didn't have a bad reaction. Even today I feel great. I did proceed to dance for an hour so hopefully it will balance out. Keeping fingers crossed for the weekly weigh in this Wednesday. I am using theMiralax and milk of Magnesium. I alternate days.

This happened to me too. I have only lost 9 pounds in 4 weeks. I went to the NUT and she told me to try to get my poop regular with MOM and Miralax. Well I tried and today- my weigh day and finally lost 2 more. hw-272, preop diet day 1-267, day of surgery- 255, 2 weeks op 245, 4 weeks post op 235

Went for the 2 week post op and was all proud that I lost 23lbs, 13 preop. Doctor squints at me and says- ugh you should have lost 20 lbs by now. Wow, and I thought I was doing ok. . Two weeks out today. Feeling pretty good. Returned to work part time today. Getting tired of the shake and love not shots but otherwise no gas or pain. I get my fluids in really well but I have to remind myself to eat. Just not too hungry these days. On the positive slide, I'm down 10 since surgery, so with the 13 pre-op I'm down a total of 23. Some folks noticed but most haven't seen me since May (I'm a teacher) so I don't think they remember. Also, i go for my two week followup tomorrow and hope i get cleared for soft foods! Hope everyone else is doing well!

I also have factor V, and was sleeved on August 7. They gave me the option to take a 81mg Aspirin but I didn't. I have been taking lovenox injections twice a day since surgery. I'm getting out today, gotta go get groceries. Luckily my sons babysitter is babysitting me today instead! She will do the driving and lifting. Looking forward to going to the grocery store . That I have lost 18, 13 preop 5 since surgery. In fact, my jumping up and down is simply a side effect to getting sleeved!!! Best decision yet. Lol- live laugh love! Thanks for the support and advice. hw-272, preop diet day 1-267, day of surgery- 255
