  9. Hello!! I would like to participate! This will be my first challenge and I am hoping to get some much needed support! My starting weight is 223.0. I would like to get to 208.0 by Memorial Day! Thanks and Good Luck to everyone!!
  10. It's not just an antibiotic, there's an antacid and one other pill. The sleeve may not be healed enough to handle the meds at one time.
  11. I had H Pylori and a hiatal hernia as well but it was found prior to surgery during my endoscopy. I had to take an antibiotic as well as an antacid for 2 weeks straight. Prior to that, I had no problems or previous stomach issues. My surgeon said it was probably not a major problem and it may have been a long time before it could have become a problem. I'm not even sure how long I had it but I'm glad it was treatable!
  12. Love the blog so far! I had my surgery 3/3. I will be continuing to follow your journey. Congrats on your loss so far!

  17. Thanks so much!! I'm excited, nervous...every emotion I can feel I'm going through them all! They're calling for a major snowstorm in the Philadelphia area Sunday night into Monday...6-12 inches of snow so I'm praying I get to the hospital safely and everything goes as planned!! I'll be thinking of you all who are also scheduled Monday and am hoping to post as soon as I can!

  22. I have 2 weeks of the Optifast shakes. My surgeon said the pre-op diet is to make sure your liver shrinks. It makes the surgery easier for them.
