  1. I just moved to the Raleigh NC area and am looking for a dr here. I am now self pay and hoping to find someone that can do my adjustments for less than $500!!! I can't believe they cost that much...this must have gone up in the last few years as I know they weren't that expensive when I got my surgery. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to try and stay around the Raleigh/Durham/Cary area, but would travel if it meant saving a few hundred dollars. Thanks!
  2. My favorite is "Any Whey" unflavored protien powder. It was made to be used when cooking or eating in regular non-solid foods (like yogurt, pudding). It has a sweet smell, kinda like cotton candy, but it does not have a taste. I put it in my yogurt or cottage cheese at breakfast, then put in any foods I cook for dinner, like meatloafs or gravies. You can find it at GNC or Bariatriceating dot com. If you are looking for a flavored powder (choc or vanilla), I agree that Unjury is the best.
  3. In the begining I was sad getting rid of my too big clothes, but now I love doing it. I go back into my closet every other week or so and pull out a few more pieces to get rid of. I keep emptying closet space and dresser drawers more and more. I have gotten rid of over 20 13gallon trash bags full of clothes over the last 9 months. Now, it is just hard keeping up with buying new ones to replace what I have gotten rid of! :clap2:
  4. I am 5' 1.5'' and am wearing a size 22 pant at 225 lbs. I was 315 lbs and wearing a 32/34 to start. I guess I carry a lot in my hips/butt!!
